More about geocaching

What is geocaching?

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.

Fun for kids!

Geocaching is a very nice activity for young and old. In this way, hiking with kids will be fun and exciting! They will be very busy to find the treasures.

Geocaching from Casa Lobera

From Casa Lobera you can find several geocaches, such as at La Fájara cave and at the old water mill. Also in the surrounding villages as much as 190 geocaches are hidden. It is always exciting to find a geocache and write your story in the log book. In some geocaches you will find "travel bugs" that you can take with you and hide again at another geocache. At Casa Lobera one GPS device is available.
